Creating energy efficient light and functional spaces
Climate change is very important and when design any space we must understand our duty to ensuring that we are being as energy efficent as possible. Utilsing new technology and having triple glazed sky lights for example, is a very energy efficient way of introducing light to new and existing spaces.
Combing this with high density thick rigid insulation in the walls, floor and roof allows us to retain as much heat as possible. We can then combine this with remotely controlled underfloor heating we are creating an efficient heat mass. This allows us to enjoy and run space very cost effectively.

Extending any space to make the flow better or to enjoy a more spacious open plan feel are goals for many. We have built up a knowledge and have a long history of utilising the best local products and materials that really add that extra layer of quality and create this amazing bespoke spaces for you and your family to enjoy. Sourcing stone from a local supplier in east Lothian, we created a new stone insert for this amazing 19th century wooden fire place. Hand carved by our stone mason, this was retained as the centre piece to a new living space in an Edinburgh property that we extended. to the side.
